The leaves have filled the sky
With bright autumn colors.
Overflowing the branches,
they sit as the
light peeks through.
Shimmer of
Orange, red, golden, and green
Reveal a friend
Atop the canopy.

He stands unmoving and surrounded as
the scenery frames him in colors.
This friend viewing the world above himself.
As others beneath him
Admire his stillness
